Dr. Tate is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Aaron Engels. Board Certified, Pediatric Dentist to our staff.

Dr. Engels will be an "in network provider" on many PPO Insurance plans. Let your neighbors, co-workers, and friends know that Dr. Tate has an "in network" Pediatric Dentist dedicated to preventive care for their children.

Dr. Engels' philosophy of childern's dentistry is to treat every child as if they were his own son or daughter. He believes that each and every child deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. His goal is to educate both the child and parent on the improtance of good oral care, and provide a fun and positive atmosphere as a dental home.

Dr. Engels grew up in North Texas and obtained his Bachelors degree from the University of Texas at Austin, his dental degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at SanAntonio. His speciality training in pediatruc dentistry was completed at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Dr. Engels proudly served in The United States Air Force for 8 years before returning to Austin.

In addition to being Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, he is an active member on the national and local level with the; American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Texas Dental Association, Texas Association of Pediatric Denttisty, and the Capital Area Dental Society.

In his spare time Dt. Engels enjoys; running hiking, golf, watching the longhorns, and spending time with his wife and baby daughter.
